Probably the best truck you will ever buy. Even if it was knackered would still run rings round a new defener. With auto box should do 20 mpg. May be touch more with manual box.

Does anyone know what the running gear diffs/gearbox/axles are like toughness wise in comparison to a defender. I know defenders can be a but of a rough ride and don't have the same lump as these pickups but I'd guess its the running gear which really counts when it comes to heavy towing and loading?
