Shame as I thought they would have made something for srt use and ddrt.a bit of diversity. Do you think they won't because srt isn't fully recognised as a work positioning technique?

They won't because they don't have an srt device to sell it with. Lol

That's what I meant though, an srt compact system. So that you don't need to have the RW with it. I guess a hitch hiker but mechanical style. Surely there's a market for that right now.

Hi guys, what I'm trying too say is I thought Petzl would have brought out a product like this. Sorry for confusion. I know these products service srt and ddrt and thought Petzl may have joined the party.

Ah yes, that makes sense now.

I had wondered the same thing about Petzl, DMM, ISC etc. It would be a product that could be used in mountaineering as well as rope access industries.

 

Having said that, It may not work well when coated with ice on a winter mountain route.
