Posting a Chainsaw....

I have sold a 200t on Ebay and need to send it by post/courier. Can anyone reccomend a courier? How did you do it? I seem to remamber that some couriers wont transport engines?

Sent a 200t a few weeks back by parcel force . Drain all fluids and seal the power head in a plastic bag before packing to prevent any fuel smell getting out . I had no problems at all . just took it to the post office . They weighed it and give you he options including insurance according to your valuation . Mine went 24hr with tracking number and signed for .

I posted 1 to mull29, went on to my parcel delivery.co.uk asked the size and weight and u get to pick what courier and they collect it, was very easy! Well it must be because I done it

I didn't tell them it was a chainsaw inside:blushing: it was machine parts......

Cheers guys! parcelforce is prob going to be easier as I cant stay in all day waiting for a courier to turn up (or not!) Can you remember a rough price it cost?

For a little saw, probably a little over £20 with a bit of insurance.

 

Parcelforce is a bit pricy but I've not had any problems with posting saws when using them.

Yea I think it was around £20 with insurance to the value of the final bid ( It was on flea bay )

Yeah be about £20 but I always send recorded delivery so put a bit on for that service . Peace of mind as you can track it via the postal number . Send as machine parts ; )
