Herbicide selection

Loosen the soil with a garden fork and then hand pull the nettle and bramble, you'll be surprised at how quickly you can get them up and out. Saves spraying. Yeah you might miss some of the root but once everything has finished flowering go back n blitz it with a good mix.

Propose a manual operation first - eg handhook/strimmer, which will give the immediate effect she wants ie reduced weeds, then when the bells/daffs have receded, go back to do a foliar spray of glyphosate at 50:1.

In other words, she cant sensibly get what she's asking for. There will be losses of her flowers otherwise as even weedwiping can produce runoff.

I've had mixed results with weedwiping but not a problem from run off.

Back a while farmers would hand rogue wild oats in a corn crop and later a glove with a built in weed wipe was developed. I'd always wanted to try one to increase the contact area delivered with chemical.

I'd try some sort of weed wipe, wait 15 days and then strim.
