i was driving to a job, and on the side of the road there was two blokes.

both in shorts, and t-shirts.

one with a chainsaw in his hands.

the other pushing a leaning tree about 15-20ft high.

whilst he was cutting it.

the tree was leaning towards the road, but they wanted to fell it into the field.

If you think that is bad... We have been doing a job peace mill just outside Kingsbridge now since the summer, removing probably 7 or 8 dirty great montereys, on the side of a open stretch of 60mph road..... the matey before hand agreed to do it just for the wood, put a 1 tonne winch cable up, felled one and removed it, never came back and left his winch cable up the next 2 trees... if that fell had gone wrong the consequences.....

attached is some pics of the first tree in the line

Well ,when the wind blew a few trees over in the village, the power company came to sort them out.All the usual wood vultures were there sawing the remains up.

I saw a woman holding a four foot length upright, with the palm of her hand on the top and her man cut a little branch off four inches from her hand....
