Anyone watching it?

What really strikes us is how humble the astronauts are and how they all seem

to see the bigger picture. They don't seem to have any political boundaries and just appear to want us all to work together to benefit the planet and people:001_smile:

I think been in that environment would humble you some what. I really wanted to see tonight's program but been so busy today completely forgot. Will have to find it on 4 catchup or what ever it's called

It's awe inspiring, Stephen Hawkins, the space station and wow didn't realise that they circulate the earth 16 times a day or how thin the atmosphere is.

It teally was out of this world...the micro G enviroment and the viewing gallery, the way the were able to do the serious work as well as keep a good ense of humour up there....the views of pmanet earth! One astronaught descibed the view as "what heaven looks like"....very thought provoking event......they even have a "robot nurse".......I want to go to space!!:cool:

Me too. What got me was how much they saw the bigger picture once they'd been up into space. Plus they all got on with no obvious boundaries other than simply being humans.:001_smile:
