Chap we use is £2 an inch (dia ) on single stumps or £50/hr if its lots ...

 

 

At £2 per inch/d ..... I hope my clients are not reading this!

£80 minimum charge will cover up to around 18inch diameter stump, then around £5 per inch diameter, or more if there are big flare roots or surface roots, or if it's really hard wood, or for any other number of reasons. Aim for £700 per day and you won't go far wrong!

That's probably about right, but at £50/hr I'd save even more!

Thanks for all the posts Fellas, although seems to be a few discrepancies in the prices. I guess it's down to the old chestnut of what your business model needs to make it work. It's gonna put a hole in half a day everything being even, so a half days money me thinks. If It all goes swimmingly happy days, if not I haven't lost out completely!
