Can i just ask what size studs come on the 7900, and what bar mount does it have ?

 

hello harvey the studs are 8mm and they are set in a recess of the saw and the mountiing is d009

hello ed here are two pictures below of the 9010 after i lathed off the bar mount studs

if i had removed the the bar mounting plate i would have seen what was in behind i could have just moved the studs over to the d009 mounting i didnt realise there where two mounting options no need to lathe down the studs as there is a recess on the chassis of the saw :thumbup::thumbup:

ImageUploadedByArbtalk1395582802.308730.jpg.47075bb585e005f89515ba40153c1053.jpg I still need to mill down the studs as they don't fit the recess and are too wide for it to, they would stil poke out, bloody saw, thought it was sorted for a min, Next thing is to find some one with a metal lathe,

why not buy 2 manifold studs, jobs a goodun?
