Hog roast

I run a hog roast company but we don't do it over wood because it's expensive! We cook ours for 8min per kg plus two hours. Just make sure it's cooked!! Get a probe you need to test 3 locations on the pig and you need to get the temp to 72c & the probe needs to stay in the pig for 2 min

Maybe but you will use loads of gas as you will loose loads of heat out of the top. our ovens are insulated we also cook our pigs in a bath of water & cider :)
