Birds nests and chippers

Just a quick warning to all chipper users. Careful with birds nests.

I was chipping at night when the nest glinted in my headtorch. It was full of WIRE.

There were bits of chainlink fence, barbwire, high tension wire and other bits of thin wire. Some bits were 2' long. Needless to say I would have made a mess of the knives.

I was brought up that you had to wine and dine before you could get your hands on a birds nest etc

but now getting on 51 the old saying comes to mind dead birds done fall from the nest lol only if i,ve forgot to zip up or if its cold have to have a good rummage round in my nest to find the bird these days and it will come to you all lol

ps i have now been on my own 3.5 years and would love to get my hands on a birds nest lol but not got nothing thesedays to put in it ha ha .
