Local committee in charge of the travellers site gave us a detailed job description to quote to.

I've also a large industrial unit that is all encroaching bramble and rubbish filled hedges and borders.

TBH I should have racked that up as few would have taken that on.

Other wise, I try to price each task at 45euros inc vat per hour pro-rata for each element.

Don't forget to price the removal of waste and the time to do so.

Regards

Ty

Don't forget to factor in time to attend meetings with the client and if its a local council they will want to see how you are going to maintain the site to an agreed maintenance standard.

You might find it easy to work out the time it will take to do each element that is needed, grass cutting, litter collection, hedge trim etc and include cost for removal of debris, cuttings etc.

Most important if you are submitting a bid is to demonstrate how good you are at being flexible in your approach and what else you are offering. These days most want to see more for less. You should also include the usual certs and docs.

Sorry if any of this is telling you what you already know.

Only have the one commercial job, but i charge £20 ph, i do a minimum of 4hrs per month over the winter(nov, dec, jan)now looking to up it to 6 for march.

To start with i charged a fixed price to get the grounds up to spec, then went on to the hourly rate.
