I'd, temporarily, get a bit of ally bar and file it to fit the internal profile, drill and bolt it on while keeping your eye out(and asking on here!) for someone with one kicking about. You know it's out there somewhere............

Sorry being dozy! Missed page 4. Duh!

 

Yeah, I gave up on moulding a bar. When I think about it, if I value my time at about £15 an hour the new bar cost me 1 hour. I 'spent' about £45 trying to fix the old one. I just hate throwing things out that could be fixed.
