Which chain oil are you chaps using?

Used hydraulic oil. Never had an issue sometimes gets mixed with oregon chain oil when cutting big stuff

I've been using this recently and all the guys have noticed how clean my gob cuts have become and how fresh my skin looks too.

I've heard hydraulic oil is bad plus it stinks like gear oil

Not to mention the damage that can occur to those saws that are not serviced. I often see the cooling fins totally blocked with the glue from bio oil.

 

Cooling fins are there to cool, blocked ones not only prevent airflow, but effectively insulate the ally resulting in very poor heat conductivity from the cylinder to the air.

 

The result? Possible seizure, or baked crank seals, followed by lean seize.

 

It does happen.

 

So garden kit are you saying sone bio oils are bad?
