Actually, all joking aside, the husky bar will improve the saw! Husky runs a narrower gauge chain, which is lighter and requires less power to run. Arguably he could run a narrow kerf bar and chain, but they're harder to find in the UK, assuming wyk is in Ireland rather than the USA currently.

That is exactly why that Stihl is wearing that bar. It's an Husqvarna "pixel" bar with Carlton narrow kerf semi chisel chain. Not sure I needed to do it, but I got the B&C for xmas, so I just made it work. The bar is a bit flimsy feeling, so we'll see how she lasts. Here she is ported VS muff modded, semi chisel VS full chisel. 14" bar VS 17"(it ended up at 70DL on 325 after I modded it to fit).
