I need to make some signs to go around my ancient oak trees. I was thinking along the lines of ANCIENT TREES

PLEASE LOOK FROM

A DISTANCE.

Have you seen any such signs or have you any ideas of wording you must be polite but to the point. many thanks david.

I am an old tree please enjoy me from a safe distance

Doesn’t the wording imply that the trees are un-safe?

Wouldn’t want to frighten the local cub-scouts on their day-trip. :001_smile:

Prefer the idea that keeping the compaction away from the plate is inherently safer for the health of the Tree.

But I appreciate what you're getting at.
