having just turned some that i got from pup, i really want to make this drum from field maple, it's bloody gorgeous stuff.

 

any one who logs up a field maple should be shot...

 

so full of figure its unreal.

might have to have a bit of that too alun...

 

how big is it?

It's max 12 inches across. Been planked at 1.25 inches with intended use for coffee table or similar. It's spalted. think there might be one piece at two inches. Not seasoned either, so don't know if you're still interested.
