Are you a professional user? Be aware theres no safety chain break on that saw

If your an owner operator, it only actually needs to be to the spec had at time of manufactured, when chain brakes were not required, unlike chippers where the current legislation is retrospective, requiring older machines to be modified to meet the newer regs.

Yep, I wasn't saying not to use it...just to be aware :001_smile:

Of course the best option would always be to buy a modern saw

Absolutely:thumbup1: no chance I would chose to use that commercially :laugh1:

I had a similar saw sold a couple of years ago I would think if you use a FC/FD rated 100% synthetic mix oil you could run at 40/50/1. IIRC I used FC rated semi synth & being a bit old school I used a 32/1 ratio & had no problems

I bought it a while ago on eBay but have no idea what make it is.

Its running ok at the moment but will be able to get parts for it?

It says 20:1 mixture but can I use a higher ratio if I use fully synthetic 2 stroke oil?

So many questions, sorry. :blushing:

Parts will most likely be hard to find, what are you intending to do with it?
