Excuse my naivety if their is an obvious answer to this! I have 3 sets of blades for my 150,one new,one nearly new and one pair quite a bit shorter through sharpening (but still well within witness line).not sure if its coincidence but the chipper blocked up 3 times on Friday,on 3 different types of wood (conifer, euc and robinia).does this happen on more worn blades or may I have another problem? thanks guys

Have you checked the fan blades? Make sure they are all there. I have only had mine block once, it was a large elm full of leaf on a really wet day and it blocked, the fiberous branch matter was horrid.

Blunt blades will create more blockages. Check your anvil/bedknife (the non-moving edge that the blades cut against). This needs to be sharp too!

thanks monkeyb, you could be onto something there,an oversight of the obvious on my part maybe :blushing:
