There is an old old poem on the subject of what types of wood burns....

 

 

 

 

Lets see if I can remember :sneaky2:

 

 

Wood

 

If is kept dry

 

and is well seasoned

 

Burns good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its not very long poem.

 

or a very good one :blushing:

 

 

Other wood poems are available.. but are less accurate. :001_smile:

Sorry buddy, no offence meant.

 

Different types of logs could be compared to different types of cars.

 

They are all basically made of the same stuff.

 

Its how they are put together that determines how quick they get going and how long they last.
