2 Pantins and Rope Wrench

Recommended Posts

Hi, So my right leg has been getting a bit of a battering for obvious reasons so I went and bought a left pantin so I can give it a bit of a rest now and then. I tried both together for a laugh, pushing up at the same time, one above the other. Its amazingly easy, although a bit worm like. Its taken a while to get used to keeping the rope in the pantins. I don't think I'll be using my hand ascender now, I wouldn't be bothered with clipping it on and off. Anyone else do this / got any tips? Thanks

Haas all the way!! Or one pantin with the straps out full length and one with the strap really short. Just double kick it like footlocking :) Some times i strap both on and just take turns which leg I use! I love the old pantin. The new one sucks. Getting a CT foot ascender next time

Thanks. Can you lock the CT foot ascender like you used to with Pantin?

I've used a left foot Pantin for a few years but I'm getting a sore knee because of it.

Last week I got a right foot new Pantin. I'm having serious coordination issues but hate the new Pantin.

I was foolish of them to make it a fraction smaller. It works just a well but it's fiddlier to use.

I wish I'd got the CMI instead.
