Has anyone fitted a pre-cleaner on air filter system on one. I looked at the cleaner on it to day just after a weeks chipping and it was well full.

Hmmm, I would ask where the dust is coming from? I would like to think that a pre filter is unnecessary in usual circumstances otherwise one would be fitted as standard. Make sure that all the mechanical bits are in order first but if you feel the need - see if you can acquire a centrifugal pre filter. It certainly wouldn't harm anything.

I've always thougt TW created a lot of dust compared to other machines.

Try a pre filter or clear out the existing one more regularly while these conditions exist.

A pre filter sounds good, but it may restrict air flow and give you additional problems.

Much simpler to check for obstructions as outlined in the manual's service schedule.
