Normally get Mendel boots for work but find the lace holder bends digs Into trees n trousers any suggestions on best chainsaw boots for climbing are with out paying silly money??

Lavoro sherwoods, really light, really comfy from the first wear, and not stupid money either. Best boots ive ever had. Highly reccomend. .. but change the standard round laces to flat ones. The round ones seem to come undone on thier own too often!

There's a trick for stopping laces coming undone, wrap the lace round twice before pulling it through to create the bow.

I use zermatts, mine are a good two years old, still got plenty of life inthem. Recently got a pair husky tec 24, got them cheap and quite like them, they have kept me feet dry through all this crap weather.

Just cut the two lace holders half way the boots off from the boots. Mine kept bending on the gaffs.
