Thank where do you get that part number from? Local dealers? Is it best to let the saw bed in first?

 

 

Husky parts listings, if you look on the website, you'll find the IPL's. And it's up to you, running in with more power beds the saw harder.

Sorry Martin, that's not a brake, just a hand guard, I have it on my 090

 

I would be amazed if even an 090 could generate enough kick back to bring a 5-6' bar back around and into yourself.

Tbf so would I, the chain isn't exactly fast, and it weighs a ton!

 

That is the old and new type AV, the old one with the bar over the top is no longer available, the one that looks like a brake arm is the new type. It's spring loaded and I do try to use it as a brake without thinking
