I have just looked at these pictures of the road transportation of the oak tree and I am disgusted at the flagrant disregard of the most basic application of H & S in this situation. :001_huh:

Just curious, why didn't you cut the stubs and hinge them down to lay better? You know, leave the bottom connected?

the council wanted stubs for kids to climb up, the tree has had arrows, the sun, moon, stars and a crocodile carved into it it looks really cool! also steps have been carved in the bottom of the stem!!
