crane job

We did a crane job at work last week, it was moving an 11.5 tonne dead oak to a council field for kids to play on! it was fun getting it off the tractor and trailor!!!

the oak was in winterbourne in bristol and we escorted it down the ring road with all the flashey lights going!!! to hanham common (we got so many funny looks!!) i got paid to take photos all day i took 175 photos and videos!!!! getting it off the trailor was dodgey, we loosened the straps and tried to winch it off with the lorry then we tried revving the tractor foward! in the end we had to cut it in half and use the hand winch as it put a big dent in the back of the trailor and lifted the tractor up in the air the farmer was not happy!!!

Yeah! it was for south glous apparently then are planning another 22 whole trees moved, but there having trouble finding suitable trees that are accessable for a crane, i only put a few photos up as i dont want to bore evryone with 170ish!!!
