Has anyone heard of 'The Royal Marine Diet', have a look on the web. It appears to be a quick 7 day fix to lose a stone, is this ketosis at work? Comments appreciated (Don't know why it has that name as I don't know any former RM that has heard of it!!

Cheers Cdo

Lunch is 1 avacado and 3 boiled eggs mashed up, with raw garlic chilli and olive oil, then add a tin of mackerel and 1 squeezed fresh lime. Absolutely delicious and cheap!

I've found this diet has really changed my breaks at work. Before break time would involve scoffing a sandwich down along with a mars bar and a can of redbull, followed by putting the seat back for 20 minutes trying to muster up the will to get back to work. Today I spent literally the whole of my first break and lunch break munching on a combination of food consisting of gammon, smoked mackerel, kale, spinach leaves, tomatoes, olives, pumpkin seeds, pecans, sunflower seeds and dried banana all washed down with lots of water. Felt pretty good all day long too. Did treat myself to a bit of dark chocolate too, but even my chocolate habits have changed. If I opened a bar of chocolate before I would carry on eating it till it was gone. Now I can take a couple squares and put it down quite easily.

I had olives in my salad today, a very nice touch.

Oh and a tangerine and apple around 3 pm.

Came home and had 2 pancakes with butter n jam.

For dinner I had, butternut squash fritters with spinach , rocket and avocado salad with a poached egg.
