New 365 wont start with decompression valve in

Hi

 

Saw is a brand new husky 365

 

Oil fuel is 50:1

Plug has blue spark and is gaped correctly

 

This saw will not start with the decompression button in.

It will only start if you dont press the button in

 

What am I doing wrong. The manual says to press in the button.

Is the saw ok, does it need to go back.

Cant ask dealer questions as they are shut at the moment

Just start it without pushing in decomp then . Little bit more strain on starter mech but not a disaster ......

Just a thought ..it is a Genuine Husqvarna not a Chinese clone ??

i bought a 365 from f r jones if you use the decomp your for ever be pulling it to start use it with out and it will start easy 3rd pull

No idea.

 

Ive mailed husky with the chassis number so they should twig if its not.

Bought from a husky dealer so I hope its genuine

Hi, I've had exactly the same on my brand new 372xp (genuine husq) I just don't use decomp. I'd be interested to hear what huqvarna say. Otherwise it is great:)

Ah got ya lol. So do u really need a decomp valve on a 60cc saw??

 

Its like have one on the 261. Use less and never needed.

 

But the fact its brand new id take it back for a check up / replacement
