Compared to some of the dodgy trees I've climbed, a tested crane should be a dam site safer- would like to do it one day!

I've used mid Anglia in the past. I believe they have been bought out/ gone into partnership with Crowland. Not spoken to them yet as I'm pretty sure parts will need to be ordered for the motor that is coming off the roof. It's more of a panicking works manager than a rush job.

i have hitched a lift. they ascend pretty fast.

I did a job 3 1/2 years ago in Dorset 3 cedars one oak and a spruce all done by crane. You can't beat it when you get a lift. Saw and a flask of coffee and up we go
