Not sure what capacity it is , around 40 cc at a stab . Home owner type saw so light use would be ok . Not a pro saw for day in day out use in the woods ! Gone are the days of the McCulloch pro saws .

Top end of 40 ,mid range 50cc's.

Bar size anything from 10"-15"

38cc normally had a 16" bar, most parts still available from Simmonds Saws Petworth Sussex [The original McCulloch spares importer] Tel 01428 707269

 

I launched this domestic homeowner saw back in about 1986 when i worked for the UK importer.

 

Great little reliable home owner saw and well priced.

All I can find about that model is that it likely was made in Italy in the 1990s.

Too right! He stitched my 15 year old self up with a McCulloch Double Eagle50- 'new old stock'. Yeah, twenty years old! **** saws, but I didn't know any better and it was cheap.

 

Pete's a top chap, put me in touch with the bloke I bought my tractor from and gave me lots of genuine history on it. Shame I no longer live so near.
