She's actually in the process of doing an ODP degree (working in surgery) so maybe that would be best?

My partner got her working holiday visa while 31... You woul get it only for a year though. This being your 30th year ... Apply now!!! If your after a straight 457 visa ( temp long stay work visa) then you'll need a job offer. I've recently gone from working holiday visa to 457. (I'm 31) . Hope this helps?

Thanks for all the input guys. Really glad it sounds like it's never too late if you put your mind to it :) First things first better start looking for a job over there!

No I haven't been there and it's not very easy to pop over on a climbers wage when atm i'm supporting a student wife and 4 young kids. Can't just up and leave them all for a month while I go flying round the world. I have no doubts (we to be exact) that Oz is for me I hate the cold months here and the warm ones are getting shorter! Also I have my heating on 30 in my house all year round as I'm always cold!

Also don't mind living in the middle of nowhere as I already do here in Cornwall nearest town in nearly 10 miles from my house I love the seclusion keep yourself to yourself and you can't upset anyone ha ha.

Cheers guys better get updating my CV haven't done that in a awhile!

Oh and Merry Xmas to everyone :D
