It's a good concept and it works we have a near as Dam it same set up only the blade on the return is a single to create billets or split real big rounds in half for return through multiple blade

course it is, was thinking the same thing myself, could have filled a ton bag in that time!:lol:

 

The axe would be quicker for the first few hours, but after that? I'm sure which method I would rather use for an 8 hour day, and which would be more tiring:001_smile:

Agree it's not the fastest method but we have a processor to. we use it for gnarly stuff above 16" and billets for clients with biiiig fires also a traditional single ram up n down to table style so we can split most things reasonably efficiently. I would not choose it as my main machine
