Does anyone have any idea what type of ganoderma this is ? This one fell off the tree and there's another about 20 ft up one of the stems on this ash. Any help if possible(!!!) would be appreciated. Many thanks. Barney

i'd say you're on the money there

Ash plus height from ground equals likely I. hispidus and startts to rule out any Ganoderma.

dont beat yourself up over it, everyones doing their best, you didnt know, and came asking the right questions and found out.

 

no one knows all the answers to everything, whats important, and believe it or not it applies to the best of the best, as long as you know where or how to find the answer thats all that matters.
