Ok so is that a replacement job or are there parts I can change?

Nope, when the system is warm the oil is less viscous and any wear in the pump is accentuated

 

I ment to say if it was being used in cold conditions, in relation to oil flow. As oil was my first thought.

Yes, it's like that one but it's the model before that.

How would I check the pressure, or is it best to leave it to someone who has the right stuff?

Yes, you could probably find what you need on ebay but I would take it to a hydraulic specialist, that probably means not pirtek

Hi tree, how would you test the pump? What would you need?

 

You would fit a "tee" into the service (the pipe that makes the ram go out) and put a suitable gauge on the spare part of the tee.
