Round for ours, however experience has shown that it is near impossible to just turn the blades as greenmech say due to wood chips and dust collecting in the triangle behind the two blades on the fly wheel. It is similar to orbital strand board when you pick it out. It doesnt affect the machine or ability but turning the blades easily just wont happen. It is handy however to have 2 more surfaces per round blade to use before the blade needs changing out completely.

Yer I think ours is great machine and chips well but on jobs where there is a few men on the ground feeding it they have to cue up as it can take a while to get bigger stuff through it, but that is to be expected to be fair to it. Looking to sell it in the near future.
