Husky 555 spec

ah, thanks. Is a bit misleading of husky with the way they've quoted the spec then. But regardless of the difference in cc... overall, it's spec says it uses less fuel than the 550xp and is more powerful.

No it doesn't use less fuel, those figures are per kWh, and those saws have more than one kilowatt of power!

I have one, it is quite heavy once fuel and oiled up, just starting to have problems with mine, starting it is a cow, it don't rev up automatically when started from cold, and when you blip the throttle it just stalls, found the best way to start it is with my foot jamming the throttle wide open and pulling it over, I know that's not right but until I can get it in the shop, it's just what I have to do :(

my 576 is like that can be a pig to pull over and get started and looking at specs as other posts just a detuned 560 rather have the 550 if using a smaller bar. and go for a 372 if needing a bigger bar better tha the 56oxp

Mines doing that bud, only when I have let it run out of juice. I prefer it over most of the Stihls that I have used, revs hard and chomps away at wood fast enough for me

was talking to a fella while gettin a new sprocket for mine as he said the 555 and the 560 are exactly the same saw apart from the carb, which gives the 560 a little bit more power, other than that there the same.

This is correct on the new carbs, they also have a slightly different cylinder and no crank stuffers
