Decided to mess around in the yard today, bought some new scales to weigh our bags and a 90x90x90 with mix of sycamore, ash & birch approx 30% mc comes in at 320kg tested a bag of 18% oak and came in at 273kg

I just chop and deliver the stuff I try to keep as big a distance from me and customers as possible it's better for my bloodpressure. as someone said to me the other day business would be great if it wasn't for the customers.

I'm lucky in that I deliver mainly to established customers, and avoid the 'Old Tom from the pub does a Transit load for £50. And that's three and a half tons blah blah blah' brigade.

we weighed some h/w the other yr,avrage was 300kg,they were dumpy bags tho

Sounds about right I used to allow 750-800kg payload for 2 cu metres of Beech around 20% moisture.
