to top it off i gave them negative feed back they then contacted saying that i had to change it or they were going to start some more crap up on ebay.

Did you remove the negative feedback? should have just left it. Ebay can see every message you've ever sent and received so i would have just asked them to have a look.

On the no returns thing, if you read ebays policy it says that no returns for both private and business sellers is not a get out of the deal clause neither is sold as seen, even though there is a box you can tick on the listings saying that you as a seller accept no returns.

Just to add another perspective to this thread;

I saved hard and bought a used 550xp on ebay.

I've used it a couple of times, and now I find out that the piston is scored, I can't use it any more, and repairs could cost more than I payed for it.

Apparently this is most often caused by a bad fuel mix, but I've been careful with the fuel, so it looks like the damage was already done when I bought it.

It does start and run, so it's quite possible that the seller had no idea of the fault.

I've asked the seller to pay some of the repair costs, does that seem reasonable to you guys?

I bid and won a 385 years ago . Paid for it with pay pal . It never came . When I left a reasonable amount of time I went to contact the seller and he was " no longer a registered user " Got F-all and just wrote it off ....
