Its a porn mobile, electric windows, air con, leather sports steering wheel, and other mods, rear windows are now tinted, winch standard Wolf suspension 1.5 ton, vibrating seat cushion , vibrating gear nob, :thumbup1:

Should also of said, it gets me work everywhere it goes people always ring and say ' I've just seen your number on a truck ' :thumbup1: well worth the investment .

Hello.

I bought a 110 hi cap from SHB 4x4 hire last year with the intention converting it. I looked at both options of buying one already set up and ready to go vs designing and having the box built bespokly. It did cost a lot more doing it from scratch but the results are well worth it. I used TGS coach works in Bristol- very helpful and very accommodating. I have spent a lot on it, up rating the springs, reverse camera, alloys, off road tyres, hands free kit, 8 LED amber flashing strobes and lots of other small bits to aid working. I reccomend doing it yourself as you run the risk of buying a whole host of someone else's problems. More than happy for you to have a look a mine if your in the reading area! One thing to remember if load ratings on wheels and tyres. its all well and good having some shiny alloys but there not rated high enough to carry the load that you ll be putting on them.

I converted my hi cap years ago I think I posted pics before I was lucky to find a tipper body with chip box off a 110 on e bay. If you get the tipping sub frame off a transit and cut it to fit then that will do the job nicely then speak to service metals for the alloy planking to make the sides.

Another thing to think about is wether your Landy is rated to 3500 gross or 3050. If its the latter I would think about how you operate with regards to what gear you need for that job and only take what is required ie no point in having a tool box and carrying unnecessary weight around with you.

They are very easy to convert I built my own body out of steel but if I was doing it again I would use aluminium you can buy all the sections quite easily. If I was you I would move the fuel tank to under the driver's seat (a military one) this then allows you to put secure storage under the body. I will upload some photos of mine tomorrow

Thought vibration came as a standard:001_tt2:

I like ,but in reality its a really smooth drive, at least once its spat off all the mud down the road  puma is a lot different from older landys, REFINED ,

I got the idea of a porn mobile as we once rocked up to do a small TD and it was outside a brothel , in the black puma you see, a few working girls walked past as they left and commented on how cool my truck looked, I very cool y said, 'yer, thats my pimp mobile' then we all fell about laughing, you had to be there, it was a quality moment. we all have to earn a living at the end of a day.
