Also if you have unlimited wood get a wood burner not a multi fuel burner , you usually get a bigger fire box and more efficient .

Sorry, yes forgot to mention that.

Although the Burley can be supplied with a multi fuel grate if desired I believe it was originally designed primarily as a wood only burner, which was another plus for us as that's all will be going in it.

Not sure if they cover as far up as you but I got my burner from Dean Forge, they deal with a lot of different stoves and wood burners so know what they're talking about so could be worth a ring. I ended up getting one of their own brand wood burners and it's excellent, does all the heating and hot water with ease:thumbup:

Hi willow

I've had quite a wood burners and believe you get what you pay for. I've had cheaper ones that won't stay in over night. I like villager or woodwarm. I have a woodwarm 16 kW atm, can fill it with wood in the morning and it's still going 14 hours later plus the house is toasty and warm. I've not heard much about the one on your link, maybe look up some reviews for them online.

Regards Neil

Woodwarm - does what it says on the tin!

On reading this I thought I would have a look online at the spec of my own stove that was left in the house when we brought it two years ago. It's a euroheat harmony 13 and to my surprise it still has a rrp of just under £1700. What a bonus will be sleeping with a smile tonight :)

We have a Bullerjan Type 01, which is a truly superb woodburner. Very efficient, huge firebox, very high heat output. Also not as expensive as some if you import from Germany. For an 8kw requirement, get the Type 00:
