Is there a way of wiring your vehicle into the mains when you go to bed so the little critters get fried when they touch any part of your vehicle ?

How much is a catalytic converter worth to them anyway ? Would rather tie a £20 note to it and ask them to have that instead.

There is a sensor that feeds info back to this engine management, if you take it off it can lead to other problems down the line.

Sure you're not confusing a cat with a DPF?

A DPF has connections to the engine managament system and generally can't be removed (would also fail MOT I think).

Cat removal is generally unlikely to cause problems and isn't an MOT issue, but there may be other side-effects on running since the turbo will spin up quicker. It seldom causes problems.

If you park over a pile of dog poo you're less likely to have your cat stolen!

these idiots use a chain cutter to cut off your cat.

simple way to stop them is to have a few beads of weld put on the outside of the cat leading from the cat to the pipe, the chain cutter will get jammed on the welds, they will struggle to cut the welds too as they are much thicker.

if your car has pre and post cat sensors and you remove the cat usualy it puts the emissions light on with newer vehicles.
