If you can get them the inners for IBCs can be cut in half to make 2 covers.

Your logs look as tidy as the rest of your site :thumbup1:

Tidy site, tidy mind and all that:001_smile:

Good idea on the IBC's but a bit costly. I can make lids for next to nothing with pallets and DPM but looking for something less involved.

Alternatively bunch them up and make a simple frame up and sling a big tarp over the top. I tried this but it's windy site and have had it blow loose several times.

The logs are within the wood so not too windy, but I'm keen to keep them in individual rows to maximise airflow.

Keep them coming:thumbup:

I have put 16 crates together 4x2x2 they were more or less touching with a tarp over the top on a frame. They dried almost as well as the individual crates with lids. Yours being round will give more air gaps and circulation so I think you would pleasantly surprised how well they will dry when bunched close-ish together.

Thanks Beau,

I'll have a play. Did you use a particular type of tarp?

the tarps if they are tied down so they can't flap last ok, have used some for 3 years, the shock cord only lasts 12 months max tried using them for a 2nd season but they just snap after a summer of sun. could always throw an old tyre on top which we do on the larger tarps.

Yes a bit costly. But you get a perfect 1.15 m3 log store and two lids.

Can get them for £20 each delivered in this neck of the woods. They might look a bit scruffy on your site though. They make mine look better :laugh1:
