Hi all, Dont get a lot of time to post on here , but i thought out of interest? what people have cooked on there log burners ? I have just had one installed and am amazed by the heat output, so i cooked my tea on it sausage and eggs .

Im sure somebody has been a little more imaginative ?

:biggrin:Nice one, need to get a descent kettle. better than the plastic rubbish that dont get hot enough .Chestnuts ok . But was thinking more on the lines of roast beef.

Power cuts every winter, so soup, beans, potatoes, fried eggs, have all been done.

Whistling kettle goes on on Sundays. Not quite as adventurous as Bob though.

2 kettles always on

Great for washing up and all sorts

Even good for hot water bottle as old and like warm tootsies
