If you leave your grinder leaning back with the handles on the ground oil goes up the breather pipe and hydraulic lock the piston! Should be right once you've Burt of the oil in the bore! Just clean the air filter check the oil and off you go!

Wow, has this really been 4 weeks ago.......... So I've managed to get the engine back together and went out to use it today, managed to snap the pull cord (nothing major) but now the engine is seeming to be hydro locked again, oil is clean this time, Im hoping something simple............

Yer just seen that. My uncle lives in Worthing send it up with him at Christmas and I'll send mine down haha

Just thinking I may have missed the obvious of valve adjustment since rebuilding.........

I have noticed that you can get copy engines for £200 new, tempting......

Yeah to look at them they are the same, just need a honda sticker.

Depending on what drive you have the clutch system can be made of cheese. And the recoils are a bit funny, easy to stick. But easily replaced, so would suggest having a spare just in case.

Adjust the valves and try it.
