been looking through catalogues and came across a YOKI which is like a bill hook and a UNO which is a axe. does anyone know if anyone stocks them in the uk found them in the states. look like they may be ideal for hedgelaying

It's a Silky Ono, so they are selling a Yoki and an Ono, now why does that make me think of John Lennon ? It just looks like a lot of cash for a billhook to me but I am renowned for being careful with money.

There is an excellent German company that does the whole range at good prices. There is a flat billhook which is better than both which I've got. I'll post the contact when I'm at home tonight as not got it with me.

Looks a bit light for a billhook to me. Only 2.7mm thick so it's not going to stand up to twisting a pleach. Be ok for trimming brush but a billhook's going to do that.

i would like to have a look at them before parting with cash the yoko sounds as if it will not be much good as for uno looks ok but like to see one in the flesh will contact trreequip and may go down
