Mark, I'll be happy to buy from you, I wasn't asking for part numbers to shop elsewhere. I'd be much happier buying off the net these days anyhow, purely due to ease and less hassle travelling to collect from a local dealer. I simply don't have the time these days.

 

I'd happily ask you to put some asside for my saws if you can, but only as a pair for each saw. Am I right thinking both my current huskies will want both larger caps then?

The reason I couldnt get the part numbers as I was on the ipad and the missus had the PC. They are if anyone needs them are

Small cap 577 87 86-01

Large cap 522 62 00-01

 

What I meant by asking local dealer was just because they arent available yet so if you frequented there it might be worth getting him to get some in stock but I do appreciate you buying from us though:thumbup1: as you say its a lot more convenient especially when there are jobs to price up and quotes/invoices to type up after the cutting has been done!

 

The problem with trying to cross match them is that there is loads of different styles of cap that will physically fit but just look different, and Husky only specify what cap comes with what saw. If that makes any sense.

Yep the large caps will fit the 135/140, they also fit the 236 so my bad for messing that one up!

 

I reckon im too old to pimp up my car but I reckon I can get away with a little bling on the saws!

Got some stock of the small flippy caps in today.

 

Most have been reserved but whats available is on the web site inventory.

 

The next batch arent due in until the 11th of Nov.

My new 560xpg came with flippys on both tanks, they are so good I'm going to change the 540 And 346 when the caps need replacing or sooner if I need any outher New shiny things to add up an order

They look like a really neat and functional design, but I haven't tried any yet....
