A few years ago we had some "campers" on the local pitch and putt course. They were there a fortnight and it cost the local council £30,000 to clean up and repair after them. They filled the brook with conifers and carrier bags of excrement. Why don't people stop employing them they would soon realise the money has dried up and move on.

Move on to where? Where ever they go they will be a problem. Just go around in a big circle and come back again one day.

It's not just the mobile-dwelling fraternity who do this there have been numerous rogue trader programs where house-dwelling blob-life do this.

If they can prove whose waste has been dumped, maybe the home-owner who employed them in the first place should foot the bill. I believe this has happened in some instances already.

This would make people more likely to consider disposal license issues etc. when selecting their contractor.
