Its amazing that there still standing just goes to show how tuff trees can be. Whilst out climbing today i found this old willow by a stream you could see right through the base of the trunk. Some of the lower limbs had "burst" open under the weight of the branches. The tree still looked like it had many years left:001_cool:

some sort of fig i think... not quite sure though, there was quite a language barrier. i think it had been hit by lightning.heres a slightly more complete one
