I believe the 8274 isn't as strong as some others in respect of how much it can pull but from what I hear they are very fast and easily modded to cope with what the user wants but as stated above, for business use I don't think it would work as well as other suggested winches.

Hi tree do you use a 8274 for tree work or just off road work as I'm all so looking at a husky pto winch thanks Jon

 

I use it for anything its suited to, in the past it has pulled stems over, tensioned speed lines, recovered vehicles, helped tracked chippers up ridiculous inclines, winched timber onto trailers.

HI TREE I'm now then looking for a 8274 then mate thanks for that im told by a engineer mate there very good very well made thanks tree jon :thumbup:

I am pretty sure I have a spare remote you can have FOC, pm me your address.

 

Warn 8274 is probably the best winch you can buy for all round everyday work. We overvolt ours for competition work and run 24v through them. We have two alternators which is easy to do with any Land Rover.
