As long as getting rid of the damn stuff is cost neutral, I don't care about making a profit from it. Any cash derived from arb waste is a bonus and shouldn't form a fundamental part of anyone's (arboricultural) business plan.

The only reason we sell it to the 'pirates' is to tick the environmental box for PQQ's. It doesn't make sense economically or environmentally to haul chip back to the yard and stock pile it. However, some civil servant, EMP or similarly idealistic REMF has deemed it the responsible thing to do.

I think so mate, stobbarts come with shirt and tie but no shovel

Brilliant, and drivers not paid that well either. All flash and no cash a driver once told me. Bet they have a nice collection of high end company motors as well as the rally set up.:001_rolleyes:

They'll only be getting 10-12 a tonne delivered in at the power stations. Haulage will be 6-7.00 per tonne. They'll only be making 1.00 a tonne from Essex.

It all depends on who the supply contracts are with.

I would just sit on it a bit if you have the room as they'll no doubt be desperate for it soon enough.

Yeah we load with telehandler and grain shovel, takes about 15 mins to load 28 ton artic.

Has anybody had any success with Boomeco Biomas?

You should get a better price per tonne if your loading, we were getting around here £10 a tonne year or so back..I have a large pile that needs to be moved so so will be interesting ... Luckily the other farm has just muck spread 100 plus tonne on one of the site s we tip so there's no hurry to move it fast.
