Hi, i really like the look of the bench next to the fire, it really suits it.

 

Out of interest, at the beginning of the thread you mentioned you had a big makita, would that be the 7900, if so how do you find it with milling. I,m still undecided about what to get, thats all, plus my small makita is a really reliable machine.

The big Makita is a dcs9010 and it is a really nice saw for milling, think rob d uses a 7900 on some of his mills and think he get on well with it. I also have a 576xp with a 24inch bar for milling which I like.
